A Message from Dr. Shaddix
What a Wonderful First Full Week! We had a wonderful first full week of school! We are so proud of how our students are settling in, learning routines, and growing each day. Lunch Numbers: Students have their lunch numbers attached to their backpacks. Please help your student practice learning their lunch number at home. DIBELS & Beginning-of-Year Assessments: If they haven’t already, these assessments will be coming home soon. Please remember that these are baseline assessments. Our teachers will use this information to plan instruction and support each student as they work toward their individual goals. Car Rider Safety: Students should exit the car on the building side. Please do everything you can to make this possible. Staff and students should not have to cross in front of cars. This is an important safety measure for both our students and staff members.

Cullman City Primary School Student Handbook CCPS Student Handbook Arrival and Dismissal Information The instructional day begins at 7:55 a.m. Students are expected to be in the building and ready to learn by 7:55 a.m. It is very important that your student arrives at school on time each day. Breakfast is free for all students this year. Students who plan to eat breakfast should be dropped off using the yellow and blue lanes. For families with multiple children, older siblings should go to the younger sibling’s arrival and dismissal areas. If you have any questions or need clarification about drop-off and pick-up procedures, please reach out to your student’s homeroom teacher. Thank you for helping us ensure a safe and smooth arrival and dismissal process for all students!
